Mohamed Haisham

Mohamed Haisham is a dedicated Safety and Security professional with over 17 years of combined experience in military service and luxury hospitality. He currently serves as a Safety & Security Team Leader at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, where he supports and leads daily security operations, emergency preparedness, fire and life safety, water safety, and lifeguard operations.

His professional approach combines disciplined military experience with practical luxury hospitality expertise, with a strong focus on risk prevention, emergency response, team leadership, and operational readiness. As a certified lifeguard and experienced safety professional, Haisham is particularly experienced in maritime safety, water rescue, emergency response coordination, and developing competent and prepared teams.

Haisham began his professional career with the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), serving for 10 years in the Marine Corps from 2009 to 2019. His military service developed strong foundations in discipline, leadership, physical security, crisis management, teamwork, and operational preparedness.

Following his military career, Haisham transitioned into luxury hospitality and has built over 7 years of specialized experience at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. During his hospitality career, he progressed through Security Supervisor, Safety & Security Coordinator, and currently Safety & Security Team Leader.

His combined military and hospitality background has given him a broad understanding of security operations, emergency preparedness, guest protection, fire and life safety, maritime safety, incident management, and team development.

Haisham is a Safety and Security professional with a multidisciplinary background covering security management, emergency response, maritime and water safety, fire and life safety, risk assessment, incident investigation, crisis management, and team leadership.

In his current role at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, he contributes to maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and resort operations. His responsibilities include coordinating daily security operations, supervising security and lifeguard teams, supporting emergency response, conducting safety inspections and drills, and maintaining operational readiness across the resort.

His professional strength lies in combining preventive safety with effective emergency preparedness. He believes that strong safety and security operations require continuous risk identification, clear procedures, competent teams, regular training, and effective communication.

His responsibilities include supervising security personnel and lifeguards, coordinating emergency responses, maintaining water and beach safety coverage, supporting fire safety operations, assisting to conduct emergency drills, and ensuring the readiness of emergency response resources.

Previously, as Safety & Security Coordinator, he supported operational planning, shift coordination, security procedures, investigations, and site access controls.

As a Safety & Security Supervisor, he managed daily security operations, supervised security personnel, supported CCTV and incident monitoring, and coordinated high-response security activities.

Before entering the hospitality industry, Haisham served for 10 years in the Marine Corps of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), gaining extensive experience in military security operations, physical security, crisis management, teamwork, discipline, and operational leadership.
