Moosa Shafeeg is a recreation professional with more than a decade of experience in luxury
hospitality, specializing in recreation operations, swimming, water safety, lifesaving, aquatic activities,
guest experiences, and team development.
His professional career has been built entirely within the Four Seasons Maldives environment,
beginning at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru as a Dive Apprentice and
progressing through several operational and leadership positions to his current role as Recreation
Assistant Manager.
Throughout his career, Moosa has developed a strong passion for creating safe, engaging, and
memorable experiences for guests of all ages. His primary focus is to ensure that every recreational
and water-based activity is conducted in a safe, controlled, and professional environment while
maintaining the highest standards of guest experience.

Shafeeg began his professional career at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru as a Dive
Apprentice. During his one-year apprenticeship, he developed a strong foundation in diving
operations, marine activities, guest interaction, water safety, and the operational standards required
within a luxury resort environment.
Following the successful completion of his diving apprenticeship, he joined the Recreation
department as a Recreation Attendant in 2013.
From there, Shafeeg progressively developed his career within the Recreation department, taking on
increasing levels of responsibility and leadership. His career progression includes the positions of
Recreation Coordinator, Recreation Supervisor, and ultimately Recreation Assistant Manager.
This long-term progression within Four Seasons Maldives reflects his dedication to the recreation
profession, his commitment to professional development, and his ability to grow from an operational
team member into a leadership position.

daily operations of the Recreation department.

His responsibilities include supporting recreation operations, team supervision and development,
activity planning, guest engagement, water activity safety, operational standards, and coordination
with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
A key focus of his role is ensuring that all water activities for adults and children are conducted in a
safe, controlled, and professional environment.
He places strong emphasis on proper preparation, risk awareness, appropriate supervision,
emergency readiness, and maintaining high operational standards throughout every activity.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Shafeeg actively contributes to team development and
training. He has taken the initiative to teach new batches of apprentices through lifeguard training,
sharing his knowledge and practical experience in water safety, lifesaving, rescue techniques,
emergency response, and safe aquatic operations.

Recreation department, supervising activities and team members, maintaining operational standards,

As a Swimming and Water Rescue Instructor, he has taken the initiative to train new batches of
apprentices in lifeguarding and aquatic safety.

awareness required to work effectively in aquatic safety roles.
He shares practical experience in areas including water safety, rescue techniques, emergency
response, prevention, situational awareness, teamwork, and safe aquatic operations.
